Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrive Nairobi
Welcome at the airport and transfer to a colonial-style boutique hotel. Briefing dinner with your trip designer.
Day 2 — Samburu
Light-aircraft flight north to Samburu National Reserve. Afternoon game drive in search of reticulated giraffe and Grevy’s zebra.
Day 3 — Samburu community
Morning with a Samburu elder; afternoon bush walk and sundowners over the Ewaso Ng’iro river.
Day 4 — Maasai Mara
Fly to the Mara. Settle into your private mobile camp positioned along the migration route.
Day 5–6 — Migration
Two full days tracking the herds, with bush picnics and optional hot-air balloon flight.
Day 7 — Mara conservancy
Off-road game drives in a low-density conservancy bordering the reserve. Farewell bonfire dinner.
Day 8 — Departure
Morning flight to Nairobi and onward connection.
